The Heat Lightning Speed Shop 1GS bash bar is designed to fit inside the stock Lexus front bumper, and bolts directly to the car where the factory bumper support mounts. This replacement crash bar is wider than factory and curves back on the outer edges to provide extra protection in an area where a lot of drift car carnage happens.
The reduced size of the HLSS bash bar, compared to the factory crash bar, allows for more clearance for large front mount intercoolers, oil coolers, etc. These will fit behind factory front bumpers, and possibly aftermarket bumpers. However, we can only guarantee fitment behind a factory bumper as aftermarket bumpers may vary in size and shape. Pre-existing intercooler setups may also need to be adjusted to work with this bash bar. Made using 1.5” x .095 DOM tubing, the HLSS bash bars are hand made on a jig and are based off of a 1GS chassis with no frame damage! Fitment is not guaranteed if your car has had any kind of collision damage.
Products will be shipped raw and unpainted to allow your choice of paint or powder coat. Bash bar in photos is for a 2gs/Aristo. Final product will be different.
