The HLSS adjustable outer tie rod set provides the additional steering-linkage length needed for lowered and modified 1996–2001 Toyota Chaser / Mark II / Cresta JZX100 & GX100 applications.
Extended lower control arms and other front suspension modifications can move the spindle farther from the steering rack, requiring a longer outer tie rod to achieve proper toe adjustment. These adjustable outer tie rods use replaceable 5/8-inch rod ends for serviceability and are available in multiple lengths to accommodate different suspension setups.

Verify tie rod, wheel, tire and suspension clearance throughout the complete range of steering travel and suspension movement. Modified steering-angle and suspension setups can create clearance issues at full lock.
