The HLSS handbrake conversion bracket allows the factory foot-operated parking brake on 1998–2005 Lexus GS models to be converted to a traditional hand-operated parking brake using an SC300/SC400 handbrake assembly.
Our bolt-in bracket uses existing chassis mounting points and places the handbrake in the same location regardless of which bracket version is selected.

Choose Your Configuration
V2: Recommended for most manual-swapped vehicles. This version will not work with the factory automatic shifter and uses the M6 threaded mounting point directly in front of the factory shifter opening. It is typically the better option for vehicles using transmissions such as a CD00X, R154 or W58 with the appropriate shifter location.
V1: Designed around the factory, unmodified transmission tunnel and can be used with automatic or manual-transmission configurations. This is the recommended version for automatic vehicles retaining the factory transmission tunnel and is also useful when the factory shifter opening has been modified in a way that interferes with the V2 mounting location.
If your transmission tunnel has been widened, hammered or otherwise modified, confirm bracket clearance before ordering.
