Return Policy

Heat Lightning Speed Shop reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.

Heat Lightning Speed Shop also reserves the right to determine the condition of all returned merchandise upon inspection. Any item showing signs of installation, use, modification, damage, or missing components may be subject to additional fees, a partial refund, or denial of the return at our sole discretion.

By completing a purchase from Heat Lightning Speed Shop, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this Return Policy.

This return policy applies only to products manufactured by Heat Lightning Speed Shop (HLSS), unless otherwise stated. Products manufactured by other brands are subject to the return policies of their respective manufacturers and may not be eligible for return through HLSS.

Driveshafts are non-returnable. Due to the custom nature of these products, all driveshaft sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be accepted unless the item arrives damaged or there is a manufacturing defect.

Most HLSS-manufactured items are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery unless otherwise noted in the product description.

Absolutely no returns will be accepted after 30 days from the date of delivery. No exceptions.

All approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee (10% of the product price) unless otherwise approved by Heat Lightning Speed Shop. Shipping charges paid at checkout are non-refundable. Cancelled orders that have not yet shipped may incur a 10% cancellation fee (10% of the total purchase amount) due to the nature of our made-to-order products. Any applicable restocking or cancellation fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

• Be in the same condition in which it was received.

• Be unused, uninstalled, and unmodified.

• Be returned in its original packaging.

• Include proof of purchase.

All returned items are subject to inspection upon arrival. If a returned item is found to be used, installed, modified, damaged, missing components, or otherwise not returned in the same condition in which it was received, it will not qualify for a full refund.

Returned items that fail inspection may be:

• Subject to a used item fee.

• Subject to applicable restocking fees.

• Subject to deduction of any return shipping label costs or other associated fees.

• Refused and returned to the customer at the customer's expense, at HLSS's discretion.

Starting a Return

Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Heat Lightning Speed Shop does not provide prepaid return labels or reimburse return shipping unless otherwise approved.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If your package arrives damaged, refuse delivery if possible and contact us immediately. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, notify us as soon as possible so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

• Driveshafts

• Items specifically marked as Non-Returnable in the product description.

• Clearance items.

• Gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order once the return has been approved.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days in accordance with applicable law. This does not apply to custom-made products or products otherwise exempt under applicable law. Any eligible return must still meet the return conditions outlined above.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to process and post the refund.
